Our Bloomington, Indiana office will not benefit from the lightest day of the year because it is raining again. We have had so much rain that the local newspaper ran a report on the water level of Monroe Lake which is located just outside of Bloomington. The lake normally has around 10,750 acres of water surface area.

Two different NOAA weather stations near the lake report 7.55″ and 9.66″ of rainfall for the first half of June. Approximately 4 to 5 inches of this rain has fallen in the past week which equates to about a 5-foot rise in water level according to a gauge station on Monroe Lake.
