Since 2010, we have been working with election divisions to create tools for reprecincting and redistricting. These tools incorporate statute guidelines to ensure that districts comply with population thresholds and that precincts comply with active voter thresholds. Never worry again about excessive population deviation for districts or precincts crossing congressional and state districts as well as other boundaries such as townships or having too many voters. Our tools alert the editor through guided workflows of warnings that may be considered an exception or errors when items need to be addressed before moving forward.
geoConvergence has also developed the first and most comprehensive system of records for maintaining an active directory of elected officials from the President down to the local school board representative. In 2009, this solution began with “Who’s Your Legislator” for the State of Indiana. This system matched several other state’s initiatives in disseminating information down to the state reprentatives. The State of Indiana wanted to go above and beyond fellow Secretary of State’s offices and expanded this solution into now what is known as “Who Are Your Elected Officials” (WAYEO). In the State of Indiana, county clerks help maintain this system of records which has over 10,000 elected officials (Federal, State, County, Municipal, Township and School Board Members).
